Today, Saturday October 9th, Optimal Sport Health Club in Newtown, PA paired up with Fox Chase Cancer Center to do a fundraising event for for the cause. The weather couldnt have been more perfect... Sunny... 75 degrees and my shirt table was set up in the shade. There were a few other vendors (women's clothing, nutritional goods) including BreakawayINK Apparel as well as a live band that cranked out some classic rock covers which had me tapping my feet for a few hours. The band collected some tips and donated to Fox Chase and 30% of tee sales from BreakawayINK went to the charity also.
We did have a special appearance from my good old pal, Newtown-native, and INK photoshoot model who goes by the name of "Michael Bern" and he spent a few minutes helping out with the booth.
One other thing, Optimal Sport is now officially outfitted by BreakawayINK as we've printed their new tees for their trainers as well as their shirts that are for sale to their 1,500 gym members.
There's a possible collabo between the INK and Temple University in the works... but shhhhhh. There's not enough solid info on that yet.
